The number of the stud has been around 250 for decades, of which 65-70 are breeding mares. The horses form three separate studs, the dam, the vintage stallion and the foal stud. The mare stud with suckling foals is in Szilvásvárad. The stud of stallion foals aged 1–3 years is located on the Bükk Plateau, Csipkéskút, and the mare foals also form a separate stud in Szána Valley. The two studs that can be visited are the mare stud and the young stallion stud. The mare stud can be visited with a Lipizzaner carriage.
